From the day that Max worked up the courage to ask Faith for a dance at the Junior High Valentine’s Day dance (you read that right), to the beautiful evening when he asked Faith to marry him under an old live oak tree, Max and Faith have always brought out the best in each other.

Through school events, tennis, and One Act Play, they were in the same circles and grew closer and closer. But when Faith played Elizabeth Bennet and Max played Mr. Darcy in an adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice”, no one around them, least of all themselves, could deny their natural chemistry and affection for each other. Perhaps they saw themselves in the characters, the gregarious and lively Faith and the reserved and honorable Max.

In October of 2019, Max and Faith began “officially” dating, and they’ve never left each other’s side since. After 4 lovely years, they became engaged, surrounded by their families who toasted their life together. The phrase heard the most was: “We’ve been waiting for this”. Max and Faith are so natural together that it seemed inevitable.

With their hearts full of love and joy, brought together by the deep love, respect, and regard for one another, and always aware of the grace of God, Faith and Max excitedly anticipate a new chapter in their life together, as husband and wife. As always, they will be surrounded by loving and supportive friends and family, and the everlasting love of God.
